BACKUP North West delivers support and housing services for homeless and vulnerable young people in Bolton. If you have great written and verbal communication skills, are committed to improving the lives of young people, are motivated and resilient, we need you! Due to growth we are looking for several new colleagues to work in front line service delivery roles across our supported housing provision. Your primary role will be to enable young people to achieve their potential, be safe and secure and move out of (literally) homeless services.

Permanent evening and sleep shifts; 7 days a week.
SALARY Starting at £26,158.08 (annual increments subject to successful appraisals)
Full time 24 waking hours a week and 192 sleeps a year. Shift starts 7pm until Midnight then a sleep; back on shift 7.30am – 9am. 4 shifts on, 4 days off.
Continuous rolling rota over 365 days (Christmas and New Year shift cover are allocated separately.)

BACKUP provide multiple services across Bolton to young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Read here about all the supported accommodation which includes emergency housing, temporary accommodation, short and medium stay supported housing. Also the non accommodation based support work that focusses on mental health, employment support and much more.
Young people can live in more than one Backup service as they make progress and develop more independence prior to moving on completely. The different services are designed to meet various levels and ranges of needs.
