he Backup AGM was held on the 8th October 2021 at the Bolton Whites, UoB stadium in the Lion of Vienna suite. 130+ people attended to hear about and support Backup celebrating its 29th year of operation. We were joined by colleagues, trustees, young residents, guardians and supporters. The new charity calendar was also launched today.
There was great food, good company, an outstanding musical performance by 16 year old Carmen as well as 2 videos from the young people. We also had winners of our 3rd annual Linda Paxton award for commitment to the charity. We were joined by the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Linda Thomas and her Consort Mr Len Thomas as well as the CEO of Bolton Council, Mr Tony Oakman. Another uplifting and joyous occasion.
