All applications for employment within BACKUP must be made on our Application Form (which you can find on our website). Unlike your CV, our Application Form allows us to ask for specific information, rather than letting you decide the format and content of your application.

In addition, we have designed our form to allow each person to be judged solely on merit. The Recruitment Panel for each job role will not know your name, sex, where you live, your religion, disability or offending history when assessing your suitability for the role you are applying for, unless you disclose this yourself. (If shortlisted, you may be contacted for further information before interview, but this will be decided by a Director or the Chief Executive.)

If you do not have a computer at home and cannot access one at your local library, community centre or elsewhere, please contact the Business Support Team, who will email a hard copy of the form to you, but we aim to do this only in exceptional circumstances.
